Tent camping
Grass camping with space for proper setups
Family tents, lightweight backpacking kits, and small trailer tents all work here—pick electric if you want a cool box and lights sorted.
Camping overview
The camping field faces south-west for the last of the evening sun. Cars stay on hardstanding bays at the edge of the grass so children can play without traffic cutting through. Noise curfew from 10:30pm—enough time for a quiet drink, not a party field.
Book a camping pitch
Live availability with secure card payment when you book online.
Grass pitches
Peg-friendly soil, gentle slope for drainage, and pitches marked by numbered posts. If you need two tents on one booking, call reception and we will block a wider bay.
Optional electric
Electric pitches include a 16A bollard. Bring an outdoor-rated camping cable with RCD. If you are new to electric camping, reception has a simple diagram at the desk.
Facilities nearby
Freezer pack loan (small deposit), family shower rooms, pot wash with hot water, and a covered dishwashing area for rainy evenings. The shop sells gas and firelighters.
Families and couples
Couples like the upper corner for a quieter pitch line. Families often take the bays closest to the play area—still within sight, but not under the swings.
Camping FAQs
Can we camp with a small trailer tent?
Yes. Book a camping pitch and mention the trailer tent in the notes so we can allocate a slightly longer bay if needed.
Is electric available for tents?
Optional electric is available on selected pitches along the lower hedge line. Choose the electric camping option when booking.
How far is it to toilets and showers?
The main facilities block is within a two-minute walk from every camping pitch, with additional drinking water taps in the field.
