Park facilities building with timber cladding and planted borders

Facilities that stay usable, not just photogenic

Warm showers, sensible opening hours, and small touches like covered washing-up for rainy evenings.

What to expect

We maintain the blocks daily in peak season and on a fixed rota in quieter months. If something is not right—drip, bulb, loose latch—tell reception and we will usually fix it the same day.

Showers & toilets

Push-button showers with steady temperature, separate family rooms with baby bath, and an accessible wet room with seat and grab rails. Male and female blocks plus a small unisex toilet overnight route for late arrivals.

Family amenities

Outdoor play area with swings, climbing frame, and safety surfacing. Indoor games shelf at reception for wet afternoons—jigsaws and a few board games, honesty return.

Dog friendly notes

Dogs on leads everywhere on park. Dog walk loop behind the static field with bins at the gate. Fresh water bowl outside reception. Please do not leave dogs unattended on pitch if they bark when you are away.

Shop & reception

Milk, bread, eggs, tinned basics, camping gas, and a small freezer for ice blocks. Reception prints local walks, sells OS map extracts, and can book the village taxi on account for guests.

Food & takeaway

We do not run a restaurant on park. The village chip shop opens Thu–Sat from 5pm (seasonal). Pub grub a ten-minute walk—ask for the footpath route without the road bend.

Park environment

Hedgerows left thicker than a fence line for birds, bat boxes on the facilities building, and recycling separated at the compound. Quiet generators only where essential—ask before running overnight.
